Digital Jersey’s Tech Start-Up Bootcamp provided a launchpad for digital entrepreneurs to develop, test, and scale their tech business ideas. Run twice, the 12-week programme selected 5-6 founders per cohort, giving them access to expert mentorship, workspace, and Sandbox opportunities to refine their concepts.
Each bootcamp culminated in a pitch session, where founders showcased their ideas to judges. Across both editions, the initiative helped drive innovation and equip start-ups with the tools to succeed.
‘ROC – What’s #OnTheROC’, a super app that aims to bring together the very best of Jersey in one place, received most support at the TEKEX pitch night and was ultimately selected as the winner. As his prize, Colm will be given a ticket to attend the major Slush tech start up and entrepreneur conference in Helsinki, Finland, later this year.
The last 12 weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind but I’ve had a hugely valuable experience, and that’s thanks to the incredible support I’ve had from Digital Jersey, my mentors and the experts who have led the various workshops and discussion sessions.
It’s been an incredible learning experience personally and professionally. I can’t wait to apply all that I’ve learned both in my own business and with my clients.
There are lots of people to thank for helping me get this far - and this is just the beginning of the journey.
