Supported by Jersey Business – Springboard will be Jersey’s first crowdfunding platform designed to elevate local business and community causes.
Officially launching at the networking event, Springboard gives local businesses a platform to raise seed investment through reward-based crowdfunding, a bulletin board to raise equity, and a platform to donate to local charitable cause.
Join us on Thursday 8th July at the Digital Jersey Xchange, our co-working space at Red Houses, to hear more about our Springboard initiative, which will be followed by speeches from two local entrepreneurs Aaron Chatterley and Benedict Lewis.
Aaron Chatterley Founder, Feelunique and Partner at Faction Ventures, is on the board as a Non-Executive Director at Digital Jersey, as well as one of our Ambassadors. Aaron will share his experiences of investing in businesses, the process involved with some real-life anecdotes.
Benedict Lewis, co-founder of Flaze, will also talk through their experiences of being on the other side of the fence, raising equity and pitching to investors, as well as working with business investors, and investing in local businesses.
The funding discussions will be followed by real-life networking, with food and drink served.
