BDO & C5 Alliance Charity Golf Day Raises Over £13,000 for Jersey Hospice Care

BDO and C5 Alliance raised over £13,000 for Jersey Hospice Care at their annual charity golf day. Discover how this event supports vital care services in our community.

BDO Jersey and C5 Alliance recently hosted their annual charity golf day at the Royal Jersey Golf Club. The event successfully raised £13,500 for Jersey Hospice Care, contributing to the vital care and support services the charity provides for local people.

The golf day, a highly anticipated event on the local calendar, saw the participation of 24 teams this year. The funds raised will directly support Jersey Hospice Care in continuing their essential work within the community.

Cheri Strudwick Director of Income Generation and Marketing, Jersey Hospice Care said: “Jersey Hospice Care is immensely grateful to BDO Jersey and C5 Alliance for their outstanding effort in organising a highly successful golf day which raised such a fantastic sum, in excess of £13,000. This remarkable achievement will ensure anyone with a life-limiting condition – and their loved ones – receive the vital care and support they need. I’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making this event such a great success and for their invaluable contribution to our mission of transforming and delivering outstanding palliative care for our community.’

Over the past nine years, we have proudly raised over £110,000 for local causes, including Macmillan, Jersey Hospice and Stroke Jersey.
