We’re excited to share some great news for all developers who have been experiencing issues with the Google Play Store in Jersey!
“After many months of collaboration between Digital Jersey, Government of Jersey, other Crown Dependencies (including Digital Isle of Man & Digital Greenhouse), and the senior team at Google Cloud, we now have managed to unblock this persistent problem. Developers who have been blocked from verifying your Google Play developer accounts to publish apps to the Play Store, can now get verified using Jersey Certificates of Incorporation.” Seb Lawson, Head of Projects at Digital Jersey.
When entering your account address, select United Kingdom as the country, input the correct Jersey address and you should be able to verify this with a Jersey Certificate of Incorporation.
We hope this resolves the challenges you’ve been facing—many apps have been blocked from the Play Store due to this issue.
