It’s been 4 months since Tamsin Raine won the inaugural Tech Start-Up Bootcamp, with her business Exordi, an online platform which connects content creators (primarily photographers and videographers) with brands looking to curate agile, creative teams for individual projects.
With a wealth of clients under her belt – both local, from Visit Jersey and local marketing agency Spud, to international brands including Sonos and Mars – it’s been a whirlwind few months.
We spoke to Tamsin to catch up on all things Exordi and to take a look back at her experience of Bootcamp 2023.
“Reflecting on the transformative 12-week journey through the accelerator business bootcamp, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the invaluable experiences and growth I’ve gained. The program, hosted by Digital Jersey, has been an instrumental chapter in my entrepreneurial voyage.

As a female founder, I felt particularly empowered and embraced within this nurturing ecosystem. The Digital Jersey community, driven by a genuine passion for fostering local business, has reinforced my belief in the immense potential of Jersey’s entrepreneurial landscape. This experience has encouraged me to explore the untapped talents and resources that our island offers, making the most of our unique testbed for innovation.
Our journey culminated in a memorable pitching event, where profound discussions and insights set the stage for the next phase of our venture. Winning first-place award for the best pitch, and the recognition of being the most investable business was amazing. This honour has opened doors to the prestigious Slush tech startup and entrepreneur conference in Helsinki, Finland. Representing our team at this global event is a privilege, and I eagerly anticipate the innovative opportunities it will bring.
